Earthlings – Free Movie Showing at Milam Hall Auditorium
Wednesday, May 23: There will be a free showing of Earthlings (2005) at Milam Hall on campus. Narrated by Academy Award Nominee Joaquin Phoenix, Earthlings is a documentary that works to expose humankind’s complete dependence on animals, and animals as products. With the use of hidden cameras and never before seen footage, the film offers a glimpse into the horrifying world of animal cruelty that has built up some of the major businesses we utilize every day. Milam Hall Auditorium is located at 2520 SW Campus Way, the film starts at 8pm. Warning: Earthlings is full of graphic imagery involving extreme animal abuse, viewer discretion is advised.
