Chintimini Chamber Music Festival, First Congregational Church, 4515 SW West Hills Rd., Corvallis. 7:30 p.m. This festival, founded in 2001, is built around performers who grew up in Willamette Valley and are now pursuing concert careers in classical music.

 

Majestic Theatre presents “A Pie, A Pint, A Play: A New Works Cabaret,” 115 SW 2nd St., Corvallis. 9:00 p.m. For this inaugural production in the Majestic Lab space, a panel of local directors and producers selected 8 plays out of more than 200 submissions from all over the US as well as Canada, UK, Mexico, Italy and beyond for a new works festival. The $8 non-member/ $6 member ticket comes with a seat, a piece of pie, and a pint of beer (or any drink the ticket holder desires).

Mary’s Peak Flower Hike, meet at the OSU parking lot at Monroe and the 27th St. at 9:30 a.m. Hike to check out early flowers on Mary’s Peak with Phil Hays and Esther McEvoy. We will hike the Connors Camp East Ridge Trail, Tie Trail, North Ridge Trail and back down the East Ridge Trail loop. It is a 6.2 mile loop with a 1600 foot elevation gain, and should take about five hours including a lunch break at the top, plus 1 1/2 hours travel time. Bring a lunch, water and good hiking shoes. 2012 Heart of Willamette Winery Association Barrel Tour 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Heart of Willamette Wineries will hold its second annual Winery Barrel Tour. Guided tour transportation from Corvallis will be on deluxe charter buses and will highlight the area and vineyards. Tour tickets are $60 per person and include a souvenir wine glass.
