Sick Town New Skater Day Orientation (Adult League)

October 2nd, 6 p.m.–8 p.m.

Have you always wanted to try roller derby? Now is your chance! Come to this fun, informative session at Corvallis’ Market of Choice meeting room and find out what Sick Town Derby Dames is all about. You’ll meet some of the skaters and trainers, get the lowdown on gear and practice, and when it’s over, you’ll be all ready to attend your first beginner practice. Kids Day for Conservation

September 29th, 10 a.m. –7 p.m.

Experience a “Decade of Discovery” at the tenth annual Kids Day for Conservation at the Benton County Fairgrounds Arena building. Greenbelt Land Trust will have an activity booth at this hands-on natural resource event where there is a variety of activities suitable for children of all ages. This event is free. Visiting Artists & Lecture Series: Michael Scott Cherney

Artist Michael Cherney will be speaking at the LaSells Stewart Center as part of the Visiting Artist and Scholars Lecture Series hosted by the Department of Art at Oregon State University.
